Fusion
Fusion is one of the two methods of generating atomic energy. Theoretically you can initiate fusion by a number of different methods.
these include:
NEWS: in 2004 new scientist reported that fusion had reached the breakeven level, where it no longer uses more energy than it takes to start the reaction.
Cold Fusion is a bit of an exception, because although there is a small amount of evidence that you do get more energy out than you put in, there are no fusion byproducts detectable, so it probably isn't fusion.
